Gilbert-Ash staff maracycle in support of Adsum Foundation

Thursday 31st July 2014
A 12-person team from Gilbert-Ash has recently completed the Cooperation Ireland Maracycle to raise vital funds for the Adsum Foundation.
The Adsum Foundation was established in 2008 in Belfast, Northern Ireland with the goal of investing money in people and communities in the developing world. Among other things they have helped build wells in Tanzania, helped provide disaster relief in Pakistan and funded the distribution of mosquito nets in Uganda.
Sponsorship has so far raised over £3,500 after the team cycled the round trip from Belfast to Dublin and back over two days.
The maracycle is part of a continued relationship between the Adsum Foundation and Gilbert-Ash. Last year Gilbert-Ash donated over £10,000 to support the building of a new school in Sandragato in Madagascar.
Well done to the Gilbert-Ash team for the hours of training they put in and for the funds they raised!
