GA completes next generation, technology enabled hub hotel in London

In December Gilbert-Ash handed over completed construction of a new hub hotel for Premier Inn at Tower Bridge in London. Described as ‘the only hotel in the world that can be controlled from your wrist’, the hub hotels are next generation, technology enabled hotels aimed at digitally savvy city travellers.

The hub hotels are a new addition to the hub by Premier Inn portfolio offering an unrivalled digital experience where customers can use an app on Android, iPhone or Apple Watch to book, check-in, control lighting and room temperature or even add breakfast to their stay.

The Tower Bridge hub hotel includes some new features; notably the introduction of ‘hub bigger’ rooms, a new room format for guests booking longer stays or guests who would like additional room space and even ‘smarter’ smart TV’s that enable guests to stream and mirror content onto the TV from their tablets and phones.

Gilbert-Ash has recently begun construction of a second hub hotel on behalf of Premier Inn in Dacre Street in Westminster and is currently on site delivering 6 other new Premier Inns around the UK.
